Our on-site Coumadin Clinic offers finger-poke technology with instant results. The Patient’s results are reviewed, coumadin dose adjusted accordingly, and education supplied on possible interactions, complications and side effects of coumadin/warfarin therapy. Patients also have the option of having their PT/INR drawn from the vein at a lab of their choice. Lab results are faxed to the coumadin clinic; a nurse interprets the result and calls the patient with dosing instructions based on validated protocols.

The Heart Center for Excellence Metabolic & Wellness Clinic provides a unique lifestyle program for patients with a wide range of metabolic imbalances. The clinic is NOT a primary care service; we work as a team with the patient and their primary care physician or specialist.
It is our mission to educate the patient in this interaction process so they better understand their own unique health concerns.
Our goal is for patients to understand how their symptoms have developed and guided their learning process toward a return to health and vitality.
